Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom. – Viktor Frankl

This is one of the most powerful quotes around today and if you consider it carefully and apply it to your life, you will see dramatic changes.

This is what my guest today, Candice Faktor did. Candice has a long history of working in the tech industry in a variety of executive positions.

Candice is someone who I admire deeply for many reasons, but especially for her leadership style. She exudes calmness and confidence and is a balance of both masculine and feminine energies.

During this episode she vulnerably shares with me what the costs (and benefits) of being so achievement oriented and living in scarcity are. And what ultimately caused her to change her ways of leading and her approach to life.

One of the keys to her change with re-examining space and how that quote above was the instigator and inspiration for her.

This episode has so much wisdom in it, no matter where you are in life, you will benefit from it. I’ve listened to the episode multiple times already and every time I get something new!

Enjoy this one and be sure to share with someone who also needs to hear it!

During this episode we discuss:

How to listen to your inner feminine voice and ‘alpha’ sides

Growing up with an immigrant background in a male dominated industry

What is the cost of being achievement oriented and playing into society’s norms?

What happens if the #1 person you have to take care of is yourself? So that you can be in service of others

Would you take a mid-life gap year?

The most vulnerable answer Candice gave to a question that changed the trajectory of her life

Living in scarcity and striving for more can lead to certain success but what about diminishing returns?

We all have our own journeys, including traumas. Those can lead to results until a certain point… our job may be to heal from those

Reimagining ‘space’

The benefits of transcending your emotions
